There's a chunk of Machu Picchu on the Left. I still don't know where McAuley got the energy to climb the mountain in the middle (from the "mayntans" maybe). All I could do was balm out on a rock. Misty surroundings on the right. This is Machu Picchu village (Aguas Calientes), down the hill from Machu Picchu. The train goes through the centre of the main shopping area. The hot springs were well worth a visit and had a magical effect on tired limbs. |
