Hook Island 21 Jade

Brian, Keith and JP got up early to get on their boat the Anaconda 2. I had a much more reasonable start of 2pm. When I was paying I discovered that my boat the Habibi had some technical trouble so they had booked me on the Jade instead. Jade was a dive boat and Magic Jade was training to be a hostess on it.


When Tom found out there was only 15 on the Jade, he decided to book last minute. We met James, Barbara and Damian from Dublin. Jade was a catamaran. We sailed off to the Whitsundays. Fantastic scenery. I donned my stinger suit and hopped into the boom net for a splash. Refreshing but it got a bit cold after a while.

There was a backpacker resort on Hook Island with a bar, showers etc. We ate on the boat, went for a few on the island and hit the tent. I was sharing with Tom and Damian who was an entertaining storyteller.
