Byron Bay

It was au revoire to the Queensland jeep gang in Brisbane, from where I got the bus to Byron Bay to meet up with Aido and Wayne who had driven up from Sydney in Aido's recently purchased late 70s Volvo that had buttons like Star Wars for the electric windows. Who was chatting with Aido at the bus stop but Katie Meehan who brought me my tea once only for me to point a shotgun at her in surprise. She was also surprised that I wasn't pointing a pistol at her from the middle of the stage. But the producer had forgotten to put it in the drawer so I had to improvise. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a picture with Kate, she was heading North the next day.

Here I am on the beach at Byron Bay.

Enjoying a few drinks outside our apartment in Byron Bay are Hilde my Norwegian friend that I chatted with on the bus form Brisbane to Surfers where she alighted only to seek me out on arrival in Byron, Aido, Canadian bird whose name eludes me, Hans from Deutschland whom we took unter our ving and Wayne.

Chilling in the pool. Wayne asked me did I know the Fantom, which reminded me of the time I asked Pat Frawley in Henry's did he know the Bull. We both simply answered, "I am the ...". I met Pat at the Regis on a Wednesday night. He was in great form as you'd expect.
